TotalTri.com Design Submission Legal Terms & Conditions

TotalTri.com retains exclusive rights to the submitted design, if chosen, for printing and selling on clothing. TotalTri.com also retains rights to the design itself for use on the TotalTri.com website, and any TotalTri.com promotional material.

The participant will keep ownership of the submitted design. The participant may display or archive the design in a portfolio or personal collection, but may not sell or reproduce the design for commercial purposes for ninety (90) days after the design has completed scoring. In addition, during this period, the participant cannot submit the design to another company to be potentially produced. Once this time frame has passed, if the design was not chosen for print by TotalTri, the participant is free to use the design for commercial purposes, however the participant must contact TotalTri to notify where and when it will be produced so that it can be removed from the TotalTri.com website. Also, if the design is printed elsewhere, the participant cannot use the TotalTri.com website to promote the product or another company.

The Design must be the participant's own original work and may not have been previously published. The Design may not contain the trademarks, logos, copyrighted works or intellectual property of any third parties, or any material, which Totaltri.com in its sole discretion deems to be profane or offensive; unless the submission is directly related to a current theme which represents a trademark, logo, copyrighted work or intellectual property of a third parties that has given expressive rights to TotalTri.com to host the theme contest and has provided the artwork that may be used in The Design. In this case, approved artwork will be provided to participants prior to submission.

The selected design may be reworked by professional designers to prepare it for use. This may results in small color changes or size changes.

Participants who, in the opinion of TotalTri.com, do not comply with these guidelines can at any time be excluded from the running without notification of reason.

The decisions of TotalTri.com are final and binding.

The participants who submit the best designs, as selected by TotalTri.com after vote and rating review, will win $500 cash, a $300 TotalTri Gift Certificate and a 12 Tee Club Membership when the design is first printed.

Additionally, if the design meets the criteria of the copyright laws of the United States, TotalTri.com may register the design with the U.S. Copyright Office. This registration will list the designer as the primary copyright owner with TotalTri.com being listed as an additional copyright claimant. A copy of the registration certificate will be forwarded to the participant upon receiving it.

The slogan must be the participant's own original work and may not have been previously published.
